Bahia Blanca Aparthotel - Puerto Rico (Gran Canaria)

Very good service is a plus.

Welcoming and brilliant apartment with a contemporary vibe and location on the hills. The breakfast was excellent with amazing food. There was a very clean pool and views of the sea😀

Bahia Blanca is excellent value for your money. Clean and comfortable rooms, nice people, amazing view to the ocean, Amedores beach is 10 min walk. The apartman has all the equipments you need during a comfortable holiday, the balcony is so nice so that you want to spend all minutes of your time there. For those who like to run, there is a nice path along the ocean just right next to the hotel. I highly recommend Bahia Blanca.

Bahia Blanca is a bit up on the mountain, but if you have no walking problems, it can not be a big problem.

It has incredible setting close to the promenade lovely for morning run. It's nestled in nice building. Employees are amicable, in all areas.

We absolutely loved this place. Gorgeous views on the ocean from the terrace, practical and functionally comfortable apartment, the location which is between (which is good!) the busy, actually horrible puerto rico and amadores beach. Bahia Blanca is highly recommended, mainly for the views ... The place is modern enough and has anything you need.... Good base for exploring the mountains... Stay away from the touristy neighbor towns.... Tip: if you want to go jogging, turn right at the Ocean promenade towards Amadores beach and further (run at least 25 min one way). Turning left to Puerto Rico is too busy and you won't have a nice run negotiating the crowds and shops....

water pressure in the shower was close to non-existent.... And there is a construction site close by (=loud...), however you see it basically everywhere in gran canaria, so it is not up to the hotel really..

Friendliness of staff was lovely. Esp at reception. Good location away from the hussle of the centre of Puerto Rico. The aspect of the rooms with the balconies was a winner.

Sauna didn't work when we used it. Fitness room wasn't of a high standard i.e. machines

Panoramic View, good atmosphere, kind personnel, wide range of services and activities for kids and adults (shop, restaurant, bar, pool, sauna, jacuzzi, games, shows etc.) Walking distances from two sand beaches (Amadores and Puerto Rico) and also to the Port and Downtown of Puerto Rico. We looking forward to spend some more Holidays here.

We loved the pool-area and the activities. Our 8 year old son played pool, tennis, water polo and much more with other kids. We also frequently used the tenniscourt ourselves. The apartment was well equipped and had a big nice terrace.The location is great. Close to beach, cliffs and city!

Some persons in the staff was not very nice, but that was compensated by the very nice entertainment group.

The hotel is very pleasant during our stay in late September was a nice atmosphere, apartments clean and comfortable, the pool water is very warm, in general, only positive feedback

It was a bit noisy from the road, but this did not avoid a steep climb up the hill

Convenient for Amadores beach and Puerto Rico. We had a short four night stay, our time was mostly spent away from the hotel with our extended family located elsewhere. However, the children enjoyed the pool, we used the on site mini supermarket and participated in one of the poolside quizzes (winning a bottle of 'bubbly'). Although we were located on the first floor close to the entertainment room and restaurant, we were not disturbed by noise at night. All rooms appear to face the panaramic sea view and we were blessed with 'wall to wall' sunshine for the duration.

If our room is an example of the majority, then it was very clean, although it's appearance needs a refurb' to make the hotel excellent.

Close distance to a great beach (Amadores) and Puerto Rico where many shops can be found. Excellent, friendly staff and daily evening entertainement ( bingo, quiz, karaoke, various shows). Excellent restaurant for dinner and a warm pool. Happy hour twice a day (afternoon/evening)! All rooms have sea view + a balcony with table, chairs and sunbeds. Rooms fully equipped with all appliances, plates, cups, cutlery. Mini market on the ground floor and ability to play pool, darts, ping pong and use the gym,sauna or jacuzzi. Free wireless internet but only around the pool (ground floor) which barely reaches 2nd floor. Free parking but not enough places for high season.

If the elevator stops working, there are a lot of stairs to climb (if you're in a room high up).Sunbeds not that many if you visit the hotel during high season. Limited variety concerning breakfast if you're staying for more than 5 days - could be prepared by yourself in your room.

great views but could improve on cleanliness

The apartments offer fine sea views. The staff provided excellent support, our family felt welcome and assisted .

The pool area could benefit from more regular cleaning to maintain its charm.

I have stayed earlier this year in the Bahia Blanca and found it to be a good value for money hotel.

The hotel is definitely not suitable for elderly people as even with the chair lift up to the rooms there are still stairs to climb and it was quite difficult for us with heavy suitcases as a family and I thought there might have been a ramp instead of stairs.

First time I've stayed in this hotel and it was wonderful. Before booking I spent a lifetime reading reviews and eventually picked this hotel.Great location, less than 5 minute walk to the beach and 15 mins to the shopping area which have loads of restaurants and bars, check out Murphy's kitchen and Dicey Riley's bar also. If you don't fancy the walk taxis are only 3 euros. Hotel has a little shop for all necessary items which is very handy. Pool area is clean and you never have a problem getting a sun lounger at any time. Food in the restaurant. Enteirtainment in the poolside bar every night. Apartment is clean and comfortable with amazing sea views.

I only have two recommendations that would better this hotel, one double bed as oppossed to two single beds pushed together and the ceiling fans in the room often didn't do much for keeping the room cool. Other than that it was brilliant and I will be going back.
